THE FUTURE CHURCH TODAY

Setting the pace for the world.

We will seek to restore the original concept of the Ekklesia Community declared by Christ highlighting its three functional dimensions. Recognizing the saints as sons of God, to expressing their devotion to the King of Kings. The Churh which is a Kingdom Nation must fulfil its dominion mandate as intercessory priests, prophetic ambassadors and princely leaders empowered by the Spirit to be the presence of Christ in every home, neighborhood, community, town and city. (Key references: Matthew 16: 13-20; Ephesians 7:16; Romans 8:12-30; Acts 1:4-8. 1Peter 2:1-12; 2Corinthians 5:16-21)

  1. Two Church Leaders will share the journey of their local Church toward becoming a City or Community Church.

  2. Participants will be introduced to the Practical Exercise, “Local Church Performance Check-List”.

DEMOCRACY - KINGDOM STYLE

KINGDOMIZING YOUR COMMUNITY THROUGH THE FAMILY

IS DEMOCRACY A BIBLICAL CONSTRUCT? Laying the foundation for community government.

Addressing the question, “What does a discipled nation look like and how do we achieve it?” We will examine the popular political ideology of democracy compared with a Biblical construct for the socio political management of local communities and its relationship to central government.  We will present the principles of Kingdom rulership built on the culture, values, goals, interests and dynamics of Social Integration. We will emphasize the role of Elders in the “city gates” and the preservation of the Family Heritage in nation building.  (Key Biblical references: Psalm 2; Deuteronomy 17:14 -20; Isaiah 11:1-5; Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 6:24-34; Acts 17:24-28; Romans 13:1-7; 1Timothy 2:1-7)

  1. Two leaders within community governments will share their testimony of being “elders in the city gates”.

  2. Introduction to the Practical Exercise, “LEADERSHIP RATING SCALE”.

As goes the Family so goes the Nation. (John Paul 11)

We will trace the origin of nations back to the first couple who were made in the image and likeness of God. Families became tribes which formed communities shaping cultures and developed into towns and cities. The nation built by God followed the same pattern as Abraham became the father of his nation and the prototype for other nations. We will study how to best build the family to kingdomize your community through the Church which is the household of God. The enemies of God know that if you want to destroy a nation you disintegrate its families.
(Key Biblical references: Genesis 1:26-28; 2:24; 12:1-4; Numbers 1:1-19; Deuteronomy 6:1-9; Acts 17:24-28; Revelation 5:8-10)

  1. Two leaders will share their experiences in raising families with the view to becoming community elders and the strategy being designed to impact their nation.

  2. Introduction to the Practical Exercise, in “Spiritual Mapping” which can be applied in your community and town.

SEVEN STEPS TOWARD KINGDOM MATURITY

You cannot govern others until you have learned to govern yourself.

This is a largely introspective Session in which we affirm that the person who is able to control the rebellion of his own heart will be able to rule well in other areas of life. It is a disciplined journey of self-development, self-government and self-determination in service toward others. It is built on the kingdom principle that internal integrity leads to external integration. It is a challenge to the pastoral care within every Church. But it is the responsibility of each individual in seeking to fulfil his/her vocational calling. (Key Biblical references: Proverbs 25:28; John 1:11-13; Romans 7:13-25; 2Corinthians 10:3-6) Galatians 4:1-7; Ephesians 6:10-20)

  1. At least one professional coach will be asked to challenge us to introspectively examine your level of leadership acumen related to your chosen occupational or ministerial area of interest.

  2. Introduction to the “5KQs Personal Exercise”.

  3. Self-Development and Self-Management Exercise.

SOCIO-CULTURAL COMMUNITY PROGRAMMES

Biblically modelled from the Book of Deuteronomy

This Session affirms that the Society is the Soul of the Nation. It requires a Vision inspired by the Spirit of God within the hearts of righteous leaders which achieves peace and produces economic prosperity within the Community. We will outline the seven pillars that build social cohesiveness based on the principles taught in the Book of Deuteronomy. If the Church does not guard the Soul of the Nation it will be controlled and corrupted by the machinations of leaders who know not God. (Key Biblical references: Genesis 8:21-9:1; Deuteronomy 8; 12:11-22; Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Proverbs 29:2;  Isaiah 61:1-7; Jeremiah 29:4-7; Matthew 6:24-34)

  1. Three testimonies will present successful programmes at the community level to illustrate what can happen when the righteous take initiative with creativity and inventiveness.

  2. Introduction to a community observation inventory of assets and needs.

STRATEGIC PLANNING AND THE KINGDOM MANDATE

CREATING A CITY OF WORSHIP AND CELEBRATIVE PRAISE

Presenting best practices for Church Community Engagement.

Effective community impact requires careful strategic planning with spiritual insight and practical wisdom. It requires a cautious approach from the outset and including participatory involvement of community leaders as well as other stakeholders and expected beneficiaries. It is a corporate enterprise involving key church leaders. However, one should be prepared to proceed even where the local church is reticent. They critical issue here is the critical and urgent needs of the community.  The key to success is professional skill and personal integrity. (Key Biblical references: Isaiah 11:1-5; 43:18-21; Luke 4:1-15; Luke14:28-32.)

  1. One professional strategic planner will give practical insights into the need for careful planning and another will share from experience the benefits of  planning.

  2. Reviewing the outline of a strategic planning template.

Worship Evangelism through Cultural Praise

The goal is to establish a culture of thanksgiving, praise and worship unto the Lord. (Key Biblical references: Psalm 67; Psalm 100; John 4:19-24; Acts 2:46-47; Ephesians 5:17-21; Revelations 4:6-11)

NEW BEGINNINGS IN THE ENDTIMES

The glory of overwhelming “end-times” with “new beginnings”

The first “Beginning” occurred when God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was had its first beginning after it was “without form and void and darkness overwhelmed it. We will trace the cycles of devastating seasons which became opportunities for God to restore and establish new beginnings. One day the “New Beginning” will never end, when we shall see the last “end-time”. Until then let us usher in a “new beginning” in our “Covid” era of “last day” manifestations.

  1. Key Biblical references: Genesis 1:1-2; Genesis 8:20-9:1; Isaiah 43:15-21; Isaiah 65:17-19; 2Corithians 5:16-19; Revelations 21:1-5.
